My 3 small kiddos share the upstairs hall bathroom and it is t-i-n-y. I mean little. (Mental note made years ago that the next house will have a larger kids’ bath!). There is only enough wall space for one towel bar. However, we have three children so we need three towel bars for towels to dry out.
I would love to have a train rack, but that still wouldn’t really fix the problem of drying towels overnight prior to the next use. We currently hang them over the shower rod, but I’m not really a fan of that method.
And then.
While waiting to get my hair cut before going to Blissdom, I found a fabulous solution to our towel problem in a magazine. In fact, I squealed when I saw it:
It’s made by Hinge-It and this is the ‘Valet’ version. And it is only $39.99. I think that is extremely reasonable for this item. One simple, decorative towel bar can cost that or more.
What’s even better is that it doesn’t require any screws or nails to mess up my drywall. It slides into the door hinge. How great is that?!
I do not own one of these yet, but as soon as household funds will allow it, rest assured I will purchase one! This is the best towel solution I’ve found so far. I can’t wait to try it out!

That’s genius!! What a smart invention. And I agree that I like how it just hooks onto the hinge. Brilliant!
On a completely different note, do you have any tips on washing a “dry clean only” bedspread in your home washer?! I read all over that it’s not a good idea…but I’m wondering what you think!
I think it’s smart too! Great for those of us with 2+ children and a bathroom with little hanging towel space!
As for the bedspread, what is it made of? Describe it as best you can: frilly lace? sequins? tassels? color? material?
The material and “frill” on it is the determining factor for me. Not necessarily what the tag says! 🙂
I’ll let you know my opinion once I get a little more info…

Thanks! I’ve been looking for one of those to save space in our small bathroom/mudroom/laundry room 🙂

Hey Cheryl!
I can’t wait to buy one! I’ll write a review post on it, whenever I can get it purchased.
Hate we didn’t get to talk more a Blissdom! I enjoyed meeting you 🙂
