Little Laundry Links–March 2011

I mentioned last month that I am always on the search for great laundry links and ideas from around the internet.  Here is this month’s round up.  So click away – there’s some good stuff here!

• Toni from The Happy Housewife writes about her love of Oxi Clean stain remover spray. You know I couldn’t agree more! Her readers leave great comments also.
• I adore this laundry room remodel that is posted on Flickr.  Note the stacked washer and dryer which are directly beside the pull-out ironing board. Oh be still my heart!  No more of that awful ‘Screeeech’ when putting the board up and down!  You literally just slide it into a drawer.  Now that my laundry friends, is genius.  What I also love is that this laundry room is large enough to accommodate this feature.  It makes my little 6 x 4 laundry room seem itty-bitty!
• My good friend Nony over at A Slob Comes Clean writes about organizing her laundry room. And let me tell you that she is about the funniest thing ever (make sure to read to the end of the post).  And her brutal honesty is so refreshing.
• Taylor from Stain Removal 101 has a detailed post with about every stain removal technique you would ever need.  She also offers a (FREE!) 40 page e-book containing household checklists to help get your home in tip-top shape.
• Amy from Raising Arrows has a great post on how she has adjusted her laundry routine now that she is living in a new house. Remember that the goal of any laundry routine is to put it on auto-pilot so you don’t have to keep re-inventing the wheel.  Amy saw that she needed to readjust her routine and did just that.
• My fabulous brother gave me his old iPhone (and I am so in love with it!) and I can now utilize this app for it: the Clorox myStain app.  Have you ever heard of such??  You encounter a stain while out on the town and now you have instant access in learning how to deal with it.  Good concept.
