I make a to-do list every day. Every single day.
And I am sure some are thinking: What in the world is there to keep up with for a Mama that stays home with her children all day?
TONS. There are more things to keep track of than I am able. But that is a post for another day.
Hence, my to-do list.
It was one of my New Year’s Resolutions to implement some type of cleaning system for our house. And with that came the need for a good planner.
I’m still working on the cleaning system, but I have found a fabulous planner that really works for me during this season of my life.
In years past, I would’ve thought it completely unnecessary to have something so…regimented. I mean, who really needs things planned down to the hour? Certainly not me!
Well, I caved and bought the Mead 2010 Daily/Monthly Calendar. It has a month at-a-glance and then a daily/hourly guide.
Yikes. That’s a whole lotta planning. Good thing I’m a planning-kind-of-girl.
And laundry is definitely on the To-Do List. In fact, it is one of the items I write in every morning, usually under the “Supper” Item. Food and laundry seem to be my most important things to take care of on a daily basis.
I only check a load as being completed if it is: washed, dried, folded and put away.
Yes, it is that last one that is the toughie.
But if you’re a person that works well off of a to-do list, try this method. It gives you such a sense of completion when you can check one of those little boxes off!

You’re amazing! So organized and such an inspiration.
Aww..you’re so sweet.
If you saw my house you’d beg to differ on the organization comment….
🙂
I’m a huge planner but have never tried planning out my day {hangs head in shame :)}. Maybe more would get accomplished if I did. I have a hard time putting away, too. As a matter of fact, there is a folded load of laundry on my sofa right now! Must get to it!
Just wanted to let you know that I linked to your “how to fold” series.
