It is absolutely inevitable that socks get lost in the wash. I have no idea why. But when I find the answer to that, you’ll be the first to know.
We have gone through many sock methods: buying whatever is cute, whatever is on sale, whatever matches a specific outfit…
Then I stumbled upon Hanes EZ Sort Socks.
And the sock lives of my little people are forever changed.
Oh? You haven’t heard? The Hanes logo is color coded by size on the bottom of the sock. It’s genius.
Obviously a mama who was sick of losing socks and/or sick of trying to match socks thought up this brilliant idea.
So instead of having to write initials on the inside seam, or sew a different thread per child in the toes of every sock, just buy the Hanes EZ Sort Socks.
You’ll save money and save time.
Two wins in my book.
I’m pleased to link this post to Frugal Friday over at Life As MOM. There are many bright ideas over there if you need some new inspiration!
(I was in no way compensated for this post. I just love things that make my Laundry Life easier.)

We have these, too!
We’ve got these, too! Love them! I wash kid socks in a lingerie bag so they all come back through the laundry, and all my whites get a pre-soak in OxiClean. It helps to keep them whiter, but my 4 year old’s socks still look like he’s been making mud-pies with his feet! He is a 4 year old boy, so maybe he is, haha!
Oh so smart to wash socks in a lingerie bag! It took me until my 3rd baby to figure out to wash baby socks in there! Drastically reduces the number of lost items.
Smart move on the Oxi-Clean. Gosh, I love that product….
Thanks for stopping by!
