Well, I must apologize for not having up my ‘after’ pics from the Laundry Room Overhaul today as I had promised. I’ve had a slight setback.
For reasons unknown to me, the baby decided a few days ago to completely drop at 27 weeks. And that was a little unsettling. So my doctor wanted me to be on couch arrest for a few days to make sure I wasn’t going to do anything else too labor-like.
Thankfully, all seems to be well with #4 and no other exciting issues have made themselves known. Let’s pray it stays that way until November.
So needless to say, I was forbidden from cleaning and straightening my lovely laundry room.
However I am so thrilled and proud of three of my readers who sent me links to their Laundry Room Overhauls! Go take a peek at their fabulous work!
I l-o-v-e the Laundry Room re-do that Mom’s Magic posted! I’m not sure if I like the color of the paint better or those new front-loaders! Beauties they are, I say! She gives a great example of making a smaller laundry space work effectively.
Ruthie from Gracious Living bit the bullet and did some dirty work, much to her credit. She tackled cleaning out her dryer vent, which is so important to preventing a house fire. Check out her progress!
And lastly, Nony from A Slob Comes Clean did some impressive work re-organizing her laundry room. Her post proves that you can get so much done in just a few minutes if you’ll put some effort in it. If you are not a daily reader of A Slob Comes Clean, make sure you add it to reader right this second! You won’t be sorry.
A big, big thank you to these brave ladies for sending me their Laundry Room Overhaul links. I’ll live vicariously through them until I am up and at ‘em enough to work on my own Laundry Room. Thanks y’all!

Hope all goes well and nothing more eventful happens! Rest up and take care…the laundry room can wait! 🙂
Glad to know that you and baby are doing well! You know that laundry room will wait…. Mine waited 6 years 😉 Thanks for sharing the link to my post, and your kind words!
Enjoy the “couch arrest” time! (Love that term!) Take care of that baby while you enjoy being with your other three.
Thanks for the link and for the big-time endorsement! And of course, the much coveted anchor-text!
Glad to hear you and baby are doing okay- take care of yourself until November! I wish I had a laundry room to clean up, but for now we’re stuck with a washer and dryer in the garage and the tiniest bit of shelf space above it. I’m happy not to have to go to the laundromat though, so I wont’ complain too much!
